Terms & Policies

Ordering & payment

• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email. If a piece becomes unavailable before your payment completes, you are refunded in full automatically.
• You can check out with an account or as a guest.

Shipping

• We currently ship within Canada. Shipping details are collected at checkout.
• Originals and prints are packed with care and usually ship within 5 business days.
• If your order arrives damaged, email marmarart48@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Returns & refunds

Original paintings and prints

You may return an original or a print within 14 days of delivery if it is in the condition you received it. Email marmarart48@gmail.com first so we can arrange the return. Return shipping is paid by the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or was not as described. Refunds go back to your original payment method once the item is received.

Digital downloads

Because files can't be returned, digital downloads are non-refundable once the order is complete, except where a file is faulty and we can't provide a working replacement.

Digital download licence

• Download links are emailed after purchase and stay valid for 30 days.
• A purchase gives you a personal, non-commercial licence: you may print the file for your own home or as a personal gift.
• You may not resell, share, redistribute, or use the file for commercial products. All copyright stays with the artist.

Custom artwork commissions

• Requests are reviewed within 48 hours. Submitting a request does not commit you to anything; we may decline any request.
• Once accepted, a 50% deposit reserves your spot and work begins after it is paid. The remaining balance is due when the artwork is complete, before it ships.
• The deposit is refundable until work has started. Once painting begins it is non-refundable, as it covers time and materials already committed.
• If we are unable to complete a commission, you are refunded any amount paid for the unfinished work.
• By uploading reference photos you confirm you have the right to use them for this purpose. The finished painting belongs to you; the artist keeps the copyright and may share images of the work in a portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Classes, events & workshops

• Cancel at least 48 hours before the start time for a full refund.
• Within 48 hours of the start time bookings are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to someone else. Just let us know their name.
• If we cancel or reschedule a session, you can choose a full refund or a new date.
• Private workshops are quoted individually; their payment and cancellation terms are confirmed with you in writing when booked.
• Art materials can stain clothing and surfaces. Participants take part at their own risk, and participants under 18 must be accompanied or have a parent or guardian's consent.

All artwork, photographs and text on this site are © MarmarArts. Buying a physical artwork or print does not transfer copyright or the right to reproduce it. Please ask before sharing images of the work beyond personal social media posts that credit the artist.
